We can take orders by phone but will require you to send a cheque which could take a number of days before the payment is cleared and the goods are dispatched. If you would like to place a telephone order please call 0845 257 5220.
Can I order individual items from the kit?
Currently it is only possible to order the kit in its entirety. However we are a customer driven company and welcome your comments, requests and feedback so we can develop our product and meet your needs. Please email us and tell us your suggestions.
What are my postage options and how long will they take?
We pack and ship Monday to Friday, except for public holidays in Britain.
Most orders are packed for shipping the following working day (the day after your order has been made). Orders made after midnight or very early in the morning may be shipped the same day.
Once dispatched it depends on the delivery option you have selected which includes;
Parcelforce 48 hour UK Delivery £6.95
Expect the parcel within three working days from the day you order.
For example if you place an order on Monday, it will be fulfilled and dispatched on Tuesday which means you should receive it by Thursday evening at the latest.
Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands will take four days.
Parcelforce 24 hour UK Delivery £9.95
Expect the parcel within two working days from the day you order.
For example if you place an order on Monday, it will be fulfilled and dispatched on Tuesday which means you should receive it by Wednesday evening at the latest.
Northern Ireland, Highlands and Islands will take three days.
Europe and worldwide
Delivery by courier within the European Union (not UK) will normally take about four working days from the day your order.
For other European and worldwide orders, delivery times will vary. Please contact us for more details.
What if I buy the kit and don't end up having a homebirth?
Many of the items in the kit would be just as useful for a hospital birth. It is important that you have a hospital bag of clothing packed in advance anyway so would advise you leave some space for some of the homebirth kit items to be added if necessary.
Typical items would include, the hot water bottle, cooling spray, massage oil and lavender oil for your bath after the birth.
What if it ends up being a huge rush and this doesn't happen, could I get a refund on the kit?
Unfortunately because the kit is aimed at the birthing market and contains cosmetic items we would be unable to offer a refund, as it would not be possible for us to re sell the kit once it has been returned.
Many of the items are as extremely useful for everyday purposes beyond a homebirth and would be unlikely to be wasted purchase.
Can I save the kit for my next birth?
Many items would be suitable to reuse for your next homebirth as long as they are cleaned and sterilised after use.
What if the kit is faulty?
The quality of our product is extremely important to us, so we advise that you check the kit on its arrival and contact us immediately if you are dissatisfied in any way. Depending on the item/s you are unhappy with, we will organise an immediate exchange of the faulty item/s or a refund on the entire kit.
If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to contact us before you make your order.
Thank you.
